Amston Lake District Announce Group
The Amston Lake District has created an "announce group." This is a collection of email addresses to which the district can send announcements of interest to lake residents. Types of announcements might include notices of special district meetings or informational meetings, as well as Hebron and Lebanon meetings of special interest to lake residents. Typically, announcements would not be sent for meetings that are regularly scheduled.
To subscribe to the announce group, click on the "Sign Up TODAY" button. (You can unsubscribe at any time.)
The button opens a signup form on the district's hosting web site. Email address, first name and last name are required. There are optional interest groups to check so that the district can target email announcements to specific groups - for example: Hebron property owners or Lebanon property owners (click both if you have property on both the Hebron and Lebanon sides).
Once you have entered the required fields and clicked "Subscribe" at the bottom of the signup form, validity checks are performed and a message is displayed saying that a confirmation email message will be sent. Until you open the confirmation email and accept the invitation to join, you will not be added to the subscriber list and will not get any emails from the district. This is one of a number of anti-spamming protection features.
In addition to announcements, the tax district can create surveys for lake residents. People who have subscribed to the Amston Lake District group will be notified of new surveys, but anyone on the Amston Lake web site (www.amstonlake.org) will see the link to any open survey.

Subscribers are able to unsubscribe by clicking the unsubscribe link on any announcement from the district. Or you can email the webmaster.
If you've already subscribed, you can't re-subscribe - you'll get a message saying your email address is already on the list.
So, if you want to change something, you can use the link on any announcement from the Amston Lake District. This is one way to change your email address or interest groups.
Anyone can complete a survey as long as the survey is still open and the link is shown on the district web site. Surveys require a name and email address.
If you change your email address, please unsubscribe and re-subscribe. If you can't unsubscribe, email the webmaster so that he can change your email address manually.
