The Amston Tax District Board of Directors approved a Handbook at the January 7, 2009 board meeting. The handbook contains updated versions of documents previously located elsewhere on the website, including:

• Best Practices - some recommendations for maintaining the health of Amston Lake

• Ordinances - regulations that the tax district can enforce with fines

•  Bylaws - rules used to govern the tax district; based on Connecticut General Statutes and the special acts creating the tax district and its predecessors

• The Special Act that created the Amston Lake District in 2002 from the Amston Lake Hebron Tax District and the Amston Lake Lebanon Tax District
