The district is governed by a nine-member board of directors, each director serving a three-year term. The board meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the Clubhouse on Wood Acres Road.

The district taxes the residents for such services as beach security, environmental monitoring, and miscellaneous lake management services. The tax collector is Eileen Curtin, 11 Woodland Road, Lebanon. The district taxes are relatively low – typically $100-$300 per year for residences.
