The lake and beaches are managed by Reggie Miles, a long-time Amston resident with many years of service to the community. The district contracted with Reggie in 2002 to oversee the many tasks required to keep the lake as nice as it is. Reggie and his wife, Laurie, produce "The Amston Laker" newsletter to keep lake residents up to date with lake events. The newsletter is available online.
