Dredging H-6 Cove
Completion of the removal of
the sand pile at H-6 should be completed 4/20 by the Town of Hebron Highway
Dept.
Security
I have not been provided
with a security schedule or a starting time for this year as yet. Gate opening
and closing of the beach parking lots will start on Memorial Day weekend unless
I am told otherwise. The sign for the times will be put up before this.
Barley Straw
Thank you to the volunteers
who stuffed bags and to Scott Forgue for his assistance. I am now trying to
locate any stray bales and only have two onion bags left which were given back
to me. I attempted to place some of the bags in the water on 4/20 but with the
wind and without someone to help, I was not able to get far. I have asked Larry
Zimmerman and Warren Smith and they have thankfully offered to help. I will
begin again on Thursday, 4/22, or Friday, weather permitting. Since I cannot
locate any more onion bags, I will request approval to order more. Algae is
forming now at the H-6 Cove location. I may need to put some straw there.
Docks
I have received approval to
use Warren Smith to help me install the docks at Main Beach and Lollipop. We
will do this sometime next week as I need to work on the barley straw insertion
first.
Lake Maintenance
Personal, car, and one boat
pass were sent with the Newsletter recently to all residents per instructions
from the Board of Directors. I have not been informed of a schedule of dates to
pick up additional passes. July 4th was the only date indicated in the
newsletter, but pick up times are still unknown. If you wish additional boat
passes, please use the form in the newsletter and I will send them out to
residents until a schedule can be decided upon by the BOD and the residents
notified. Jo and I have signed our Boat Inspection Contracts and will mail to
Dave O’Brien. I have put up a temp. sign at the boat launch site with the names
of last year's inspectors. When a permanent list is known, it should be put up
and noted on our web site.
Approval or answers are
needed by the Board for the following tasks/questions….tasks
to be completed between this meeting and the next meeting in May:

Will the minimum of 6/7 hours still be in
effect for the spring/summer period? When my hours were reduced in November
it was stated that they would be reviewed again in April for the summer
season.

The dam grass cutting, tree/bush removal
(required by the DEP) and the trimming of Lollipop walkway, which I did last
year, will you be contracting these tasks out this year?

I need to do the spring tune up on the
tractor and other equipment for use this year. (Please note that even if you
are contracting out the brush removal and trimming I need the tractor to
groom the beaches and ROW’s unless this is being contracted out also).

I would like approval to purchase sand for
Main Beach this year. It was not done for the last 2 years and needs to the
redone.

As stated above, I need approval to order
more onion bags (25/$85.00) .

A new cable is need for the parking lot gate
at Main Beach. ($20.00) Approval to purchase?
Along with the several tasks
lists you have already requested and have, I am attaching a listing of the tasks
needed to be done from my inspection of the ALD District Property last week.
If you wish me to complete any of the tasks listed here, please let me know.

that I have started a clean up of Berglund Green
per Ray DeCormier. I was instructed by Dave O’Brien to bring this before the
Board first, but Mr. DeCormier indicated that if I did not wish to do the task
now, he would hire someone else.

As I am not able to attend
the April Board meeting, I will need someone to confirm to me my tasks, if any,
for the month. Also I will need the Board to decide on one person I can take my
instructions from so I do not keep getting into a position where I get
conflicting instructions.
